While I am clowning around looking in the toilet for a Tsunami, the Woody Boatress, was getting her nails done at a local salon, then off to get her hair cut.. You guessed it, the building she was in, sides collapsed during the Earthquake. Crushing cars in the parking lot.. Turns out to be a great visual of damage around the area to show damage.. So guess what, she took pictures, we sent them to NBC, they in turn broadcast them, CNN picked it up, ABC and Fox..
And next thing ya know. There is the boatress talking about how bad it was in front of smashed cars.. NOW, what she did not say, is that she went off to get her hair done and came back. Dang she is good.. Here is one more image.. Life in the big city..
Nice work Woody Boatress! Matt needs to stock each car with some emergency Woody Boater tee shirts that you can slip on for those unexpected CNN News interviews.

She has been on every channel here and CNN live nationally.. Insane how fast that happened. She sent images at 230 and by 5 she was all over the place.. I feel sorry for Lybia.. They got bumped for the boatress for 10 seconds..

Even though we grow up expecting quakes here in the shaky islands they still scare the crap out of us.
I was working with a photographer from Christchurch on Sunday and he said they are still getting ‘ after shocks from the big quakes 6 months ago. Over a thousand and counting.
I can’t begin to imagine how you’d cope with that.

it all happened in about 30 minutes.. Insane speed. I grabbed some stills and a bad iphone video of the tv.. With all of us laughing and yelling at the office.. she kept texting, now Fox, do i do it.. Hell ya, ya just your hair done, it doesnt get any better than that!
