Biggest Balls Award.

We here at WoodyBoater have decided to hand out our first Biggest Balls Award to Fellow WoodyBoater David for unbelievable courage and trust regarding his recent fishing trip. David owns and has restored his wonderful Ski Skiff. He just rebuilt the motor this spring. OK, that fine enough… David also loves fishing and apparently has a little of Ernest Hemingway in him. Our old man and the sea followed the fish more than 30 miles off shore with a 20 fathom line searching for Tuna……. Yup 30 miles in a 20 some odd foot over 50 year old wood boat. Dang……Way to go David! For the record, you can drive to the local Safeway and get tuna…even in a can, and not be in danger of being run over by a freighter … or Somalian pirates, or a rouge wave, or typhoon, or a large octopus thing!

WOW, and I thought I was being manly by putting mine into salt water when it is windy enough to catch a spray over the bow! Ok I guess I'll go sit with the little girls and sweet water boaters.

Yes I feel so couragious when I use the boat longer than 3 hrs a a time.

Congrats Dave on winning the Biggest Balls Award. Further proof that Sea Skiffs can handle it all.

Sea Skiffs are beautiful boats built in the likeness of the Lyman lapstake. Chris Craft did not like anybody cutting into their market share. I would also like it to be known that all sweetwater boating is not without danger. Have you ever been on any of the Great Lakes in a chop? Hold on to your cookies.

just a quick poser, if you' will, how big is Dave's Sea Skiff? Mine is 18', and folks in these here parts think I'm nuts for stayin' out in rough weather, while they all run for the docks.
