Well, that went by fast. Maybe it’s my age. But did this summer zip by like a hydroplane? I can remember summers seeming to last forever. Either way, it’s over, done, finished, dead. What a better way to spend it than on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. A nice punctuation to the Summer of 2008. But.. wait… here in Virginia it’s like the ending of a bad horror movie. Just when you think it’s over an arm comes out of the grave and grabs your leg. Next weekend is such a show here in Virginia. On the Northern Neck of Virginia it’s The Wings, Wheels and Keels show. Take a ride in a WWII Bi-Plane. See some very cool cars and tractors and steam things that just seem to make noise…. and a handful of cool boats. We will be bringing three and the truck… maybe even an old lawn mower! It’s a quilt of classic stuff. And yes funnel cakes and hungry realtors. Thanks to all the readers and comments for making this a fantastic Woody Boater Summer…. Now… I need to start sharpening those Woody Ice Boats shoes…..
Summer 2008. Don't Blink!
