But the management of the sales and the delays in delivery have us trying something different. We have a handful of orders. It’s a long boring story. One day.. Not today. So. You can get Blue. Or white The white ones come with a patch. The blue ones have gold braiding. The pin in the image above is vintage and can be found on eBay from time to time. I have about 10 of them and will be also bring those to show how it all works. This one is from a Maryland Yacht Club.

Hey Matt. These are actually growing on me. The quality vs the cheap ones really shows in the pics. Can you turn these around backwards for those occasional WOT runs? Or would that give the look of a beret?
I am telling you. These things grow on you. My wife is still not there. but at shows and events. Its the way to go. I wear mine when boating and always get the thumbs up. Embrace what you are. bring your hat desires out of the closet. ! Be proud.
I love my hat! Makes me look way more intelligent, handsome, deboner, etc! Guess I’ll have to get a pipe one of these days too. Mearshim, maybe? I also love the masthead today!

I’ll have it on next month at the Show in “Tavares” on “Lake Dora”, doubt if anyone will find one of these hats in “Mount Dora”. Matt, the show moved 4 years ago.

I do have pins. I hoard them from eBay. I think I have a bout ten of them. The fun is to match them up with where you live, or would like to live. They come in all sorts of sizes and shapes. Cant find new ones. I have looked into remaking them as a woody boater one. but we only sell about 50 hats a year. Not sure if the math worked out. The pins usually are around 20 bucks on eBay. I will have them as stated in the story.. at MT dora to show folks. There was also a story on them on Woody Boater a bit back.. All, if Matt was able to resurect the hats, maybe, there is someone to make a pin. Not just any pin but, a WoodyBoater pin. It could look like a head-on of a boat with the starboard side a stylized “W” and the port a “B” sorta like the Warrner Brothers Movie Studio trademark but, a boat with a pennant on top. We could have a design contest and a free pin to the wienner. That would be too cool! Tony

Yes, that is the plan, but dont wait if you know you want one. I will have about 6 in different sizes. If they sell. They are gone til the next order. MT dora last year we sold 24.
OK, so I’m hy-jacking this thread. All this gab about a stupid, dumb looking hat, and it’s not even a Southern Crown Boatworks hat, and I can’t even get a half dozen baby sh#t YELLOW plain jane WOODYBOATER t-shirts, and only 50 days till Tavares. I hate to keep harping on this BUT I seem to be screaming at a deaf man.:):)

Quit your sniveling! The yellow shirts were a one time deal. They were the first year of Woody Boater t shirts never to be replicated. You have a collectors item for sure. Each year we do something different. Just like our boats. Its all about the art. This year we are in the works for something fun and different with the new logo. So those of you with the original yellow shirts, blue shirts and last years fun Sand Varnish classic shirt. Thats it. Stay tuned for the new 2011 Woody Boater shirts. And yes they will be available in long sleeve.
Are any of the white yacht caps availble I need a size 7-1/4 or 7-3/8 and will pay full retail!
