I am not sure what gods are in charge of AC units. But they must also be the same gods of the Flat head engine head gasket/valve, Bungs and water pumps. Not only is it over 100 here. With an outrageous humidity, but my AC unit decided to stop. NOT from being overworked mind you, but from a freon line that had been rubbing up to the foundation for 10 years.. What the hell. That could have gone anytime.. Why yesterday? My modern house is not designed for this to happen. So it was 95 in the house. I recall living in an older home and not having AC and being fine. Tall ceilings… flow through air… One more reason I suppose that old stuff is better sometimes than new. If you are noticing that this story has no energy, or humor.. I sweated it out last night. Pressing each type key is like lifting a stack of brickssssssssssssssssssssssssss…

HMMMM, if only you had a boat big enough to sleep on. Nice cool water surrounding a wooden hull. Maybe CruiseAire on a forward hatch. If only.
As my brother says, "It is hotter 'n four Hells."
This is the time you want to go woody boating. You want it hot and humid to drive you out of the boat and into the River. That is what I am going to be doing in 29 hours. I was covered in sweat and dirt today and tomorrow I will be covered in River. I like to look at the Lyman from the waterline. With an island in the background. This is why I woody boat. I hope you all get a chance. Bye Bye
