As we prep for this weekends jaunt up to Lake Greenwood, the agency .. My Real Job… decided to have a fun surprise lunch. The Woody Boatress knows how to reach my heart.. and clog its arteries.. The agency SmithGifford had a special lunch time feast of everything on a stick.. HA. What a great theme.. And a great time.. The Woody Boatress makes this office a joy to come into work. In fact back a couple years, we were voted one of the top 10 places to work in Washington D.C.. that’s right.. There is an agency therapist, Ruby who is now a full time employee.. Stress releif.. A matese mix that keeps us all happy, a hedgehog named Mr Pickes and a hamster who is fat now it looks like a softball.. We have had pajama Day, were everyone comes to work in there Jamies, had breakfast for lunch that day! An omelet bar and fresh waffles.. mmmm we may need to do that again.. We serve lunch to the staff each day.. So lunch themes are big.. Today is Fast Food Friday.. Although there is some stickage left over in the fridge.Life is to short to not have fun…

We call this America on a stick! This also came with a wonderful whipped creme type deal.. Creme fraiche. for all you South park fans.. Worth the google on that one.. Funniest South park episode ever..

So, what a great set off to a great weekend on a Lake in NY .. Picking up a new boat. What could possibly go wrong????? Tune in Monday to find out.. And bring a big cup of Joe, it may be long… I want to knock on wood, but that may be what goes wrong.. Todays blog has just made it much harder on the rest of us bosses. Telling people they can enjoy being at work? And with pictures also!!!? The only person having a good time at work should be the Main Man not the sniveling hordes in their boxes. Wait… you do run the company right? Um, if not just ignore all of that.
Ha, yes I own the company, but they run it. We have 20 happy folks who could all work anyplace in the US…
That is the right way to treat people. I have a couple of people that have been with me for over 20 years. They’ve watched my kids grow up and I’ve been to their kids weddings.
