Sorry, I am interrupting misery week with a positive image. No cracked windshields, blown head gaskets, water pump failures, I forgot to put the drain plug ins, gas in the bilge, dock disasters, bilge pump failures, varnish sags, bungs popping, wood rotting, oil pressure gauge blow outs, seams opening up, planks falling off, or ethanol clogged fuel lines. I need something good to look at. I found this great clip on You tube of a 1957 Connie doing her thing.. It’s all worth it when you see this…
Tomorrow. More misery… I promise…

Matt,
Not a great Zoom shot but still don't look like you!! Of course I had to sit on the trailer tongue of my U-22 and have a beer. About as close to boating as I see in my future.
After seeing that I may need to take the 1960, 27' Connie for a little cruise today. Dang! She'll have wet varnish… Well, maybe tomorrow or Saturday… There's always Sunday.. I've got to get this varnishing done!
I swear, there's 6 hours of work for every hour of cruising when she's in need of a little TLC. It's all part of the fun (if I keep telling myself that, maybe I'll start believing it)!
Sweet!
Well, I hope you feel better. I have not even started my varnish. Someone else having fun on the water. Now I am a little depressed. Show me some more boats that need attention and maybe my spirits will be buoyed. Of course it still does not put me on the water.
