Picking on poor Marion “Mayor for Life” Berry? Just keep in mind, if you have to deal with anyone “downtown” for anything, parking permits for guests, street repair, lead water pipes, parking tickets, sewer gas etc you will probably be dealing with a person he put in that job! Redundancy & red tape are built in. I had to make three trips to the Federal building just to get a marriage license. Same woman, same office, different desk, different hat. Oy vey!

I think Marion should have held onto this, seeing how his nose was only good for one thing, and it was smelling his own gas.

Ps-seen a few things from “his” boat on the bay over the past few months. Somebody is hard up if he’s being used in the pitch.

There’s a similar device on my old cruiser. I would give it up for an award of some sick sort but it would leave a gaping hole in my helm. Suppose I could cover the hole with a plaque that reads “Lift & Sniff, Dummy!”

I don’t know why this would be needed by the mayor. He saved his nostrils through his choice of smoking crack cocain rather than sniffing the powder version like Ms. Lohan.

Oh, and no article on Marion Barry is complete without at least one mention of the famous “bitch set me up” line.
