Very cool boat from what appears to be a very cool seller on eBay. The way that the story reads is part of the fun of this boat and clearly if you bought this gem, you would gain a pal in the process. This tasty 1947 Higgins Deluxe Runabout is in need of some work for sure, but good luck finding another, these are very rare boats and very cool to look at. I have seen two in person fully restored and it is a stunning boat done right. That and if another world war breaks, grab a gallon of gray paint and you will have your own PT boat…. UPDATE! Sold For $2,550 AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! That was a great deal. Just the right price to make a very nice restoration worth it. Way to go.

The purchase price is the easy part. Then you own it. Just when you are settled in it is B. O. A. T. all over again. Break Out Another Thousand
