The public is cordially invited to see a flotilla of antique and classic motorboats at Smith Mountain Lake’s Parrot Cove Marina on Saturday, June 27, 2009. More than a dozen pristine antique and classic boats from the 1920’s to the 1960’s will be on display at Parrot Cove Marina, near the Hales Ford Bridge on Route 122, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. This is not the big Smith Mountain lake Show, but it is a fun crowd and a beautiful lake to cruise on. So that’s good enough for me. Last years Summer show.. the big one was fun as all get out. There was a flotilla of Smith’s there as well….. Maybe we should have a Smith kinda reunion.
