It’s that time of year…again.. It’s 100 in the shade here in Virginia and much much cooler up North. I hope. It’s just 10 days-ish away.. give or take a day or two.. August 6-8… Just think, in 10 days you to could be basking in the thousand Island cool waters and crisp sunshine.. Ok.. and bad cell service.. But there is always salad dressing to take you mind off the unique hotel experience.. All part of the fun. This year we hear some very cool boats are showing up. So that will be fun, and of course there is the Annual Clayton Antique Boat Museum Auction. This year. A no reserve auction. So some deals are surely going to happen.

There may be hope on the cell service front. AT&T has been lighting up new towers in the last couple of months. In the week after July 4th, we went from marginal edge to solid 3G service on the north half of Keuka. The 1000 islands can’t be much further down the list.
