Funniest thing I’ve heard in quite a while! Great job. Reminds me of the old Earl Shieb (sp?) auto paint jobs. Paint over anything not covered (ie tires, windows etc…) and if you stop short the paint slides right off.
Good entertainment!!! That went well with my morning coffee (spilled on my lap, spewed all over the monitor and splashed on my dog). I enjoyed it, can’t say the same for the dog.
Tom, well done! It would be funnier if it werent so close to home. Time & money spent having professionals restore your boat don’t always give you a good result or a fair price. A sad comment on our hobby.
I know where I am going to take my boat now, CADILLAC where the varnish runs thin and the mahogany grows tall and straight! 12 hr job, bring it on, at the right price of course! guaranteed 100 points you say?
I’m confused. I thought that the price for a standard 100 point boat started at $1,000.00 per point and went up from there?
At $10,000 per labor hour, if they only have one guy on the job it is $120,000 and with a team of 6 it will be $720,000. At that rate they could spend the 12 hours buying you a 100 point boat!
