On the way home from Quimby’s we stopped in Lake George for the day between 7 hr drives to Virginia. What a day. The weather was perfect and so were the crowds. Thank god for $4 gas. Lake George is one of the woody boat centers of the universe. So I was able to get my fix in. Another great thing about this area is the old school marketing and hospitality. It’s cleaned up and made very nice, but its still 1955 up here. And I love it even more for that. Even driving in traffic is an experience. No bull!
