The official Boobie Burgee, we hope to be able to offer this soon.
What a day.. What a week. It all started with the Woody Boatress saying she wanted to do the AVON walk. We quickly realized that this effort was going to be a big deal for Woody Boater. We also thought that is could be a great way for spouses to be part of the fun. And while at it, do something good for humanity. The name created quite a stir amongst some, but when they saw it, and got the idea- signed up. But nothing could have prepared us for the kindness and support of you, the readers. My wife even has sent emails to Woody Boaters.. Dear god.. the world is upside down. She may actually read this bilge scum I write now. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.. Readers have asked about t-shirts and some even pointed out the Burgee made from a pink ribbon in the header we designed.
It was just a fun photoshop detail for the photo!
You will be happy to know that t shirts are being made and will be available at Lake Dora and a soon to be online store.
Official Woodys For boobies long sleve t shirts. With long sleeves. And a third boob! Mens shirts will be different, how you use them is up to you.
The Burgees might actually be made now thanks to the kindness of a Woody Boater and his families business that sews things.. We are waiting on that. Estimates from flag companies online were in the $100 per Burgee range and they would have been just printed. Sorry no crap! Especially expensive crap! But now there is hope thanks to Tony.. Stay tuned on that. Thanks again for all the support and donations. Looks like about $1,200 in just One Day! We are deeply grateful, stunned, and hope to see this growing more. Thanks again.. Shouldn’t “WOODYS” be “WOODIES?”
That was a age long debate. Since we use the Y as a descriptor and are not Woodie Boater we chose that. Is it grammor wise correct? I hope not. Then it would be off brand
Ok, my wife had to ask; “Who would want a boob made of wood?” After explaining, she thought that it should say “Woodies for Boobies” too. Had to explain again that we’re followers of “Woody” Boater, not “Woodie” Boater. We agreed to disagree (she’s a teacher).
My Boobys are most certainly for Woodys!
Hey Matt be careful…..in Britain “woodie” is what guys get looking at boobies…….that said where to I send my contribution? My boater babe went through breast cancer in 2009 and is a healthy survivor……enjoy all your posts. Hope to see you this summer……Allen

Just to let you know Your boobie burgee is not a Burgee…
A burgee is must have a swallow tale or two points like boobies… Your would be called a pennant…
I know many yacht clubs call their pennants Burgees but they are using the wrong term…
In the pre-war period Chris Craft used Burgees but the ones from the 50s and 60 were all pennants…
I know boobie burgee sounds better than Boobie pennant…
