I have no idea what happened today in the world. And you know what.. Me and my brain…real brain don’t care. We have boat babes…. keep’m coming.. It’s gonna be a rough night. Although. Piers Morgan has Hugh Hefner on.. So you may just get through an entire day not giving a crap about the rest of us! Woohooo!

Another Ink Clot Boat Babe from Don Danenberg, he pointed out the gauge cluster.. OH GOD! Dan and Brian should talk...

If you ever wondered why there were hand rails on the back of big runabouts… to keep the babes from flying off.
Very hot babes but I think I’m getting old since my 1st thought on the first picture was “Well that looks dangerous. Where is the CG?” The rest I’ll put up as screen savers.
She started off in the front seat before they hit that big wake.
Rick – On the day that photo was taken, the Coast Guard was away from the lake investigating the Riviera Deck Seam Controversy – HA.
It’s the old story, “When the Cat’s Away the Mice Play”… or something like that…
OK I guess I’m a total boat geek and I can’t help but ask what the deal with the fitted canvas cover over the engine hatch? This is the second photo posted today with a boat that has a cover and I have never seen such a thing before. Any ideas?
Matt are those your nice chicken legs?
Ha. No on the chicken legs. And yes rdapron you and the rest of us are all looking at the cool canvas addition and I imagine we will see some this year. It’s an interesting way to protect the bri….. Hey wait a second. I am loosing my mojo!
Robert – Maybe it’s the next Widget for the antique & classic boat hobby. You could tell your boating buddies that it was a super rare factory option that came with the boat… So rare that it wasn’t even shown on the Hull Card. Like a COPO Camaro… You had to know somebody at the factory to get one.
Perhaps you are on to something Texx, but would the canvas scratch the varnish? Perhaps the new version needs a pad under the canvas.
Speaking of boating babes, I’m still waiting for Matt to post the pciture of a CC girl I sent him a while back.
Robert, you should bring them back. You could be the first to sport the “DaPron Apron” at the next show.
Flannel or microfiber underside, with custom embroidery.
They actually make perfect sense.
Can you have them ready for Dora?
It’s actually a very cool idea. They all need to be custom though. And very helpful when I have my high heels on. I hate it when I scratch the bright work..
There you go Robert… The “DaPron Apron” – Designed & Built by Woody Boaters for Woody Boaters.
If you have a prototype ready to bring to Lake Dora, Woody can test it with his high heels and we can do a live story on it. We can test it on a Riva…
Imagine the possibilities. It can be made in any color, be made to look like the deck seams or mahogany color, or look like a giant beach towel. It could have foot print marks to follow when boarding or say “No Step” like big truck fenders. You could have one that looks like a Wooly Mammoth or a ….
When I saw the chick on her back on the hatch lids I thought it must have been a custom thing to protect her lovely hide from the of the heat. It gets hotter than four Hells out there in August. Then I began to wonder about UV’s. Did our parents even know what UV’s were back then? Much less care enough about what rays do to the brightwork on their precious CC’s which weren’t even intended to still be in the water on their original bottoms being used by their grandkids?
