Tom Swift books were the Mighty Morph’n Power Rangers of the day. It’s an interesting insight into how cool motor boats were to the general population. A boat that zips through the water with out a sail. This book dates back to 1910, so the kid that read this and dreamed of getting his own motor boat most likely bought a pre-war Chris Craft, Century, Gar Wood….and thus an entire industry was born. Wow… that’s deep man… ! And for 35 bucks you can be inspired once again.. OR put in on your book shelf and never read it.. Either way. It can be yours on the freak show called eBay..
