No Matt watching people bid remotely from their computers is interesting. Fun entertainment for the afternoon would be recreating the photo shoot of the 3 atrractive women sitting naked on the boat. Ok it was for a great cause but it that still must have been one hell of a fun afternoon! OK TAKE 752! OOPS , forgot the lens cap on we’ll have to start again.
Weather vanes?
I didn’t follow this story, spent the afternoon visiting with the twin granddaughters instead. How exciting could a weather vane be to bid that much for? Was it for a worthy cause? I guess I don’t get it. All I can say is congrats to the person who bid $785.00 and didn’t get it and now doesn’t need to worry about how it was going to be shipped in one piece and how that person was going to risk their life to mount it on a steep roof.
Give some of those bucks to “Woodys for Boobies”. Hey, it may save your life, and some others too.
I was the guy that bid it up. Actually I think my maximum automatic bid was $825 or $850. It is a cool piece to own, but my wife was wondering what in the heck I was going to do with it and I must admit, the neighborhood might not have appreciated a weather vane on our house. And yes, I did think it would have been hard to ship. But still…
