I can hear it now, everyone along the dock will be playing a song relating to their boat! The judges will remove their ear plugs just long enough to make sure the music is period correct and relates to that particular boat!

Years (and years) ago when I was a kid my grandfather owned an owens and he had an LP record from them of poeple talking about and then going out on an Owens along with the engine sounds. I think the B side had music. I wonder if anyone else remembers it?

Seen them live many times in the 60s, guess they did not know what they where singing about, no C-C in sight where they came from. Guess they thought it sounded nice, and gee it does, try to sing it yourself, but the owner of this blog will change the lyrics to "chris craft U22 lalala" if i am right…
