If you read the story at the start of the week, there is a real life drama playing out on the boat buzz forum. A person has a barn find Chris – Craft Futura and is looking for information, or to part it out. We contacted the owner and now here is the complete story. turns out the current owner came across the boat and does know how valuable it is…And is not inclined to part it out. in fact is trying to find a good home for her in one piece. It’s located up near Clayton in a warehouse. Its been in a barn for over 30 years since the owner at that time had a heart attack during her refitting. She is all there and needs to be restored. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Especially if you're not good with words. Knowing a little more about the history of this Futura and finally getting to "see" her in "as-stored" condition may lead to some interest in finding a new care taker who could save her. She is definitely worth taking a closer look at for someone in the Clayton area.
